“I’m a foodie: that’s the thing I do best! I did food in Israel and I was a barista when I came to Sydney 20 years ago. I’m a big eater and I love Middle Eastern food; I love hummus and falafel, and all the food of the Middle Eastern region. I wanted to spread the love, and it’s still a little bit of a niche the Israeli/Lebanese/Middle Eastern cuisine [in Sydney] and we have a lot of special dishes that nobody else has. Once you’ve tried it, you’re hooked!”
