“When we first bought this shop, I was still teaching in Sydney. Although we have three (Gerringong and Unanderra) shops, I like being part of a small community. I’m from a very small community in Barellan, out in the Riverina, and so really enjoy working with all the different types of people. I think that’s where my skills are; I’m a bit more of a people person whereas Jason is very good at back of house. We’re very happy with the three shops we’ve got at the moment, but then Jason and I don’t like to sit still for too long either. He always says ‘if you’re not going forward you’re going backwards’. Whether I see us growing further, I don’t know; we’re pretty comfortable at the moment.”
