After taking over the first Daddy’s Burgers ‘n Wings store in Windsor in 2024, Kane and Stephanie Fuller have since added a second operation in Richmond. And they very much agree that the food — the taste — is very the reason for their success. “I worked out early on that, irrelevant of what you’re paying, if it doesn’t taste good people don’t want to buy it. And for it to taste good, again irrelevant of the price point, if you don’t buy good quality ingredients, it’s never going to taste good. Everything here on the menu we have tried and tasted,” Kane says. Stephanie adds: “We’ve got our beef, our buttermilk chicken, our grilled chicken, a pork burger, a vegetarian burger, and each month we do a special burger. And all of our food is coeliac safe, everything is made in-house, and all of our produce is sourced from local growers and a local butcher — everything is local! We also make our own sauces and seasonings.”
