Mohamed Elanlouri is a man who enjoys being outdoors. At work or at play, you will find him in the sun: on weekends on his boat, and Monday to Friday he’ll more often than not be found in someone’s backyard. Or patio. Or a playground. Mohamed’s work? Synthetic grass.
“It’s low maintenance and lasts for years and years. It just stays green all year,” Mohamed says of the obvious benefits of synthetic grass. “It’s best suited for daycares; for yards where you can’t get a mower to the backyard; and for people who are physically incapable of mowing a lawn.”
“We use Soft Fall in daycares. It’s for when kids have a fall from the play equipment, they’re safe. By law, those places have to have Soft Fall,” Mohamed explains. He also provides wet poor rubber for daycares; 20mm cuts of rubber, machine-mixed and trowelled on, that is also for safety purposes. Both the wet poor rubber and synthetic grass are UV proof.
As well as synthetic grass, Mohamed also uses Stone Set, a product used for pathways and driveways which you can drive over. “I have my own designs and I back up my work with a 7-year warranty on all installs,” Mohamed asserts.
